I goofed a little on the math in this vlog, but let me break down some numbers for ya.
There are lots of rumors about how artists get screwed when they sell records, but since I’m indie to the core, I’m not.
For every iTunes song sale, I get .35 cents. For every Amazon song sale, I get .31. (This is after my 50% split with Tommy.) Long story short, in order to make back the $1680 that this project cost, I need to sell 5600 songs - or 560 albums.
